What is Dystutor:

Dystech is dedicated to providing educators with the tools they need to enhance the learning experience for their students. We are excited to introduce our latest feature, Dystutor, an AI-based assistant that generates personalized recommendations based on assessment results. With Dystutor, educators can obtain immediate, in-depth feedback on their students' performance, empowering them to take a more effective and tailored approach to teaching.

How Dystutor works:

Why Dystutor may be inaccurate?

Dystech has recently unveiled a new functionality: Dystutor. Dystutor is an AI-based assistant that provides guidance in natural language regarding a completed assessment.

At present, educators are using Dystech to evaluate reading proficiency and obtain a comprehensive report. However, they may occasionally desire guidance on how to proceed with their approach. This is where Dystutor comes into play!

Since Dystutor relies on AI, there is a possibility that the responses provided may not be sufficiently precise, unrelated to the subject matter, or even incorrect. An interesting scientific analysis of this behaviour can be found here https://arxiv.org/abs/2202.03629, (also published in ACM Computing Surveys).

This is primarily because AI, and especially Natural Language Generation, is still a work in progress. The algorithms are regularly fed with new data to enhance the precision of the bot, resulting in a continuous improvement of its accuracy, and as a consequence, a better relevance of the answers provided by Dystutor. That is why it is of utter importance for educators to take Dystutor suggestions with a certain level of caution.

At this stage, Dystutor integrates OpenAI's technology.
